CRED: First of all, can you tell us a little about yourself?
Where are you from, ethnicity, etc?
EKA: I am
from a military family, and we have lived many different
places around the world. My ethnic background is Dominican /
African American.
CRED: How
long have you been modeling? What inspired you to become a
Model?
EKA: I have
been commercial modeling since I was 17. I was asked to be
in a national ad and my career took blossomed from there. I
have been on the urban modeling path for about a year and a
half.
CRED: How
will you change the game?
EKA: I
don’t want to change the game. I got into it because I love
it and I want to evolve it.
CRED: What
do people say is your best feature?
EKA:
I would definitely have to say that my rear end gets most of
the attention, however I think my lips are my best asset.
CRED: How
do people that knew you before you started modeling react
when they see you doing your thing now?
EKA: The
majority of them are very supportive, but like any situation
where someone is growing, you will have haters.
CRED:
What’s the crazy pick up line you’ve heard from guys trying
to get your attention?
EKA: This
guy threw money in my lap and told me he could buy me after
I politely declined his offer to take his number.
CRED: What’s the best thing about
modeling?
EKA: The
best thing is the ability to transform into someone
different at every photo shoot. One week I may be a sexy
angel, the next week a pin-up doll, etc. On the flip side;
What are the worst aspects of working in modeling?
Trying to figure out all of the hidden agendas is the worst
aspect for me.
CRED: What
else do you do for fun?
EKA: I like
to read, salsa dancing, exercising, spending time with my
family and friends when I have the opportunity.
CRED: Is
there anything you want to let the people know, any parting
words? Any shout outs in closing?
EKA: Yes, I
would like to send all of my love and appreciation to my
fans for their continued support. I would like to send a
special shout out to Cool V, Tony Jones(skorpion
entertainment & modeling agency, Anthony at
eyecandymodeling.com, and Jennifer Ann a celebrity makeup
artist. Most importantly, I would like to thank Cred
magazine for giving me this opportunity.
