CRED: First of all, can you tell us a little about
yourself? Where are you from, ethnicity, etc?
EVE: I'm 24yrs old and am a force to be reckoned with!
:) I've been featured in print magazines such as AsIs
and The Source and have also been featured on numerous
websites such as Cutiecentral, 24HourHiphop,and
BigTigger.com to name a few. Recently I re-enrolled back
in school and plan on getting my Bachelor's next year in
Psychology. I'm a mix Black and Cuban descent and was
born and raised in Springfield, Mass.
CRED: How do people that knew you before you started
modeling react when they see you doing your thing now?
EVE:Since my very first shoot, the same people that
doubted me all of a sudden began to "support" me because
they see that I'm about quality over quantity. Although
some people do not agree with the type of modeling I do,
my true friends are walking with me every step of the
way because they know the real Eve.
CRED: How
long have you been modeling? What inspired you to become
a Model?
EVE: I've
been modeling for a few years now. It was always
something that I wanted to try out and see if I would
like it, so with the support of my closest friends I
flew to Detriot and shot with Anthony Thomas of Eyecandy
Modeling. Since then the rest is history.
CRED: How will you change the game?
EVE: Um...I wouldn't say that I'm going to change
the game, I just want to add a little bit of Evey to it
;) The urban modeling industry has a really bad
reputation in terms of women willing to do *whatever* to
get out on. I want to show that you are able to remain
true to yourself and become successful without having to
succumb to the pressures in the industry. I also want to
show that more often than not, women who choose to show
a little more skin are also smart and business savy. You
cant always judge a book by it's cover.
CRED: What do people say is your best feature?
EVE: I constantly get complimented on my eyes. I always
have even when I was a little girl and was told I have
"bedroom eyes." Lol
CRED: What’s the crazy pick up line you’ve heard
from guys trying to get your attention?
EVE: Did you fall from Heaven, because baby you
are an Angel? C'mon guys you can do better than that!
Lol.
CRED: What’s the best thing about modeling?
EVE: The best thing about modeling are the photoshoots.
I love collaborating with different photographers and
showing my versaility in front of the camera. I always
try to find a way to improve with each shoot and learn
something new from each photographer I work with.
CRED: Flip side. What are the worst aspects of
working in modeling?
EVE: People and their ulterior motives. I cannot
stand people who are not true to their word and offer
their assistance not with your best intentions in heart,
but for their own personal gain.
CRED: What else do you do for fun?
EVE: I love to travel, hang out with my friends, go to
basketball games, and shopping always makes me happy.
Lol.
CRED: Is there anything you want to let the people
know, any parting words? Any shout outs in closing?
EVE:
I just want to thank everyone for your continued support
and faith in me. A special shoutout goes out to my
closest friends who keep pushing me when I want to throw
in the towel.. Thanks to CRED mag for the feature, Tony
Jones of Skorpion Entertainement and Modeling and
Aundrea Jackson of Ghost Model for all that you do for
me. To YOU for taking the time to learn a little more
about and I can't forget about the haters!! Thank you so
much! Lol. Make sure you follow me on Twitter @
