CRED: First of all, can you tell us a little about
yourself? Where are you from, ethnicity, etc?
TF: I'm
originally from New York. My Mom Is Black & My Dad
is Hispanic.
CRED: Do you like sports? If so what’s your favorite and
why:
TF: I'm
not a big sports fan. When I do get into sports, I
would pick Football over any other sport 1. I have to be
there and 2. I love the fan participation and the
overall experience of actually getting into the game.
CRED: How long have you been modeling? What inspired you
to become a Model?
TF: A
contest I placed in contributed to me wanting to explore
this modeling thing. I really didn't know that there
was an Urban category at the time. Honestly, if there
wasn't one, I probably wouldn't be talking to you
today.
CRED: How will you change the game?
TF: I feel like I already am
changing the game. A lot of times pin-up beauties
remain such. I have been able to move from pin-up to
high-fashion, and now other models are trying their hand
in it to. My body type wasn't the type that these
magazines exploited in the industry. They have
glamorized T&A so much, that women have nipped & tucked
these areas making it harder for them to crossover to an
industry that's more excepting of my body type. :)
I plan to use my celebrity to make a difference in the
lives of the youth starting here in Palm Beach County
Florida to end this "School House to Jail House" issue
that plague our minority children. Please Google this
problem and learn more about it and get involved,
please.
CRED: What else do you do for fun?
TF: I
like to sit at home and watch movies. It's always a
pleasure to get out with my model friends, Lee Portor,
Adour and Lee Porter. You will be seeing a
lot more from them. Love getting on Skype and
chatting with my honey :)
CRED: What is your idea of a good date?
TF: My
dream is to have a surprise, well prepared dinner at
home with my mate, followed by a walk in the city
holding hands. I love a man with a take charge
personality. During our walk he makes sure I'm walking
on the inside of the street, opens doors that I walk in
first, takes my coat off , grabs the chair that i'm
about to sit in, makes meal suggestions at restaurants
when dinning out, conveys my selections to the
waiter before his. All these things excite me about who
I'm with and create the mood for a make or break date.
It's so simple to please me and inexpensive.
CRED: Who’s your favorite entertainer/musician/vocalist
or rapper?
TF: I have favorite entertainers by
category. I like Kanye West for many reasons 1. He can
make a hit without putting black women down or talking
about the things that poison our community; that's a
talent in today's music. I think it's so unfortunate
that he did what he did at the MTV Awards, but come on
people. I really like artist that have a sexy voice to
listen to or sexiness in their delivery like Jada Kiss,
50 Cent, Mase, Mos Def, and Prodigy to name a few. I'm
really feeling Pop Artist Nikkie B and R &B
singer/songwriter Ray Blaylock. Ray Blaylock is a
friend of Neo's who wrote and sing a song that can be
heard on my www.myspace.com/msford
page titled "Shine". The song talks about my life
at-a-glance. Talented, talented, talented - best
describes Ray Blaylock. Ray is also on that track with
Neo & Jay Z "Just Call me Crazy".
CRED:
What's your favorite song (currently)?
TF: Sweet
Dreams by Beyonce
CRED: What do people say is your best feature?
TF: In
my opinion, I would think it's my hair due to the fact
that advertisers pay me to endorse their product. I've had
people voice that my legs are hot. I get told that my
mind is amazing. If you are someone that didn't tap
into my mind to experience that side of me, well, that's
your fault that you were operating on a low frequency.
I've learned not to waste time giving to those that
aren't ready to receive. I'd rather leave you the way I
found you, lost.
CRED: What’s the craziest pick up line you’ve
heard from guys trying to get your attention?
TF:
I walked into this club that use to be the spot, once
upon a time, in DC called 1223. As I walked through the
line bypassing the others that were waiting to be chose,
I passed my coat to the attendant, and proceeded to walk
down the narrow path to the dance floor when this
gentleman grabbed my hand while lifting it to the air,
twirled me around, dipped me back, leaned over while
looking in my eyes and said, "Why did you have me here
waiting all this time?" I laid in his arms trying to
remember who he was. His movement was so swift,
precise, fluid, and comfortable to me I'm thinking I
have to know him. Then one of my dearest friends that I
rolled with that did have my back woke me up and said, "
Tasha, who is this nigga? Back off my friend. We have
people to meet and drinks to drink." That was the end
of that. What's funny is that I would later visit the
Gucci store in Tysons Corner and he was there playing
with me all over again. He eventually reminded me of
where we met and we became the best of friends, Gabriel
Brown.
CRED:
What’s the best thing about modeling?
TF: The best thing about modeling
is being able to live out your fantasies in print and
T. V. fantasies that you would never have the courage
to explore. Not to mention, being on the cover of CRED
XCLUSIVE. :)
CRED: Is there anything you want to let the people
know, any parting words? Any shout outs in closing?
TF:
